Paralegal - Houston

We are seeking an organized, detail-oriented, and proactive Paralegal to support a busy legal practice in our Houston office. This position offers the opportunity to work closely with attorneys on complex matters while playing an integral role in case management, client communication, and legal operations.
Position Overview
The ideal candidate will have strong organizational skills, excellent attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. The Paralegal will provide comprehensive legal and administrative support, assist with case preparation, maintain case files, and coordinate with clients, courts, and outside parties.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare, revise, and file legal documents, correspondence, pleadings, and discovery materials
- Manage case files, calendars, deadlines, and document organization
- Assist attorneys with trial preparation, hearings, depositions, and client meetings
- Conduct legal and factual research and summarize findings
- Coordinate document production and maintain litigation databases
- Communicate professionally with clients, opposing counsel, courts, and vendors
- Schedule meetings, depositions, and court appearances
- Review and organize records, exhibits, and evidence
- Support billing, time entry, and administrative tasks as needed
- Ensure compliance with court rules and filing procedures
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree and/or Paralegal Certificate preferred
- Minimum of 3 years of paralegal experience in a law firm or legal department
- Strong knowledge of litigation procedures and legal document preparation
- Experience with state and federal court filings preferred
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and legal case management software
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
- Ability to work independently while maintaining a collaborative team approach
