We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Operations Manager to join our team on a permanent basis. This is a key leadership position, with responsibility for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our manufacturing facility, ensuring efficiency and productivity are maximized, and costs are minimized. This role requires a strategic thinker with a keen eye for detail, a strong understanding of lean manufacturing principles, and the ability to motivate and lead a team.

Responsibilities:

As the Operations Manager, your primary responsibilities will include:

1. Overseeing the daily operations of the manufacturing facility, ensuring all processes are running smoothly and efficiently.
2. Implementing and monitoring key performance indicators (KPIs) to track productivity and identify areas for improvement.
3. Developing and managing budgets, ensuring all operations are carried out within the allocated financial parameters.
4. Applying lean manufacturing principles to streamline processes, reduce waste, and increase efficiency.
5. Leading process improvement initiatives to optimize operational performance and reduce costs.
6. Training, supervising, and mentoring staff, fostering a culture of teamwork and continuous learning.
7. Ensuring compliance with all safety regulations and maintaining a high standard of quality control.
8. Collaborating with other department heads to align operations with business goals.

Qualifications:

To be considered for the Operations Manager position, candidates must have:

1. A minimum of 5 years of experience in operations management within the manufacturing industry.
2. Proven experience in implementing lean manufacturing principles and process improvement initiatives.
3. Strong financial acumen, with experience in budgeting and cost reduction strategies.
4. Exceptional leadership skills, with a track record of effectively managing and motivating a team.
5. Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to think strategically and make sound decisions under pressure.
6. Strong communication skills, with the ability to clearly convey complex information to a variety of audiences.
7. A bachelor's degree in business administration, manufacturing, or a related field is preferred.
8. Certifications in operations management, lean manufacturing, or a related field would be an advantage.
