Product Manager, Ads

THE ROLE:
We are seeking a passionate Product Manager to lead the strategy, development, and optimization of FloSports’ advertising products, spanning display and video ads across all surfaces. This role focuses on designing scalable and impactful ad solutions that enhance user experience while driving revenue growth.
You will collaborate with engineering, design, ads team, and marketing to develop innovative, effective ad products. As the owner of the ad product roadmap, you will set priorities, identify opportunities, and ensure seamless integration of ads across platforms. Leading a small, high-performing team, you will spearhead ad innovations that establish FloSports as a go-to platform for advertisers, maximizing investment opportunities and driving significant revenue growth.
This role oversees a diverse portfolio of advertising products across display, video, and emerging platforms. Key areas include dynamic ad insertion for live streams and VOD, innovative formats like sponsorships and PiP ads, and advanced technologies such as SSAI, CSAI, and AI-driven solutions leveraging computer vision and sports data insights.
The ideal candidate will leverage data to uncover lucrative opportunities and drive innovative solutions, particularly in video advertising. This role offers a unique opportunity to develop industry-leading advertising products that drive significant revenue growth while delivering exceptional user experiences. You will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of FloSports' advertising business, ensuring its competitiveness in a dynamic and rapidly evolving marketplace. As a self-starter with a high level of ownership, you will meticulously plan and adapt your team's structure to align with the skillsets required for successful execution of strategic initiatives.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Own the vision for ads experience, driving improvements in ad targeting, optimization, and delivery.
Define and execute the product roadmap for FloSports’ advertising products.
Audit current advertising offerings, overhaul poorly executed customer experiences.
Establish clear KPIs for ad performance, ensuring accountability for delivering results aligned with company goals.
Analyze ad performance metrics and leverage insights to inform product decisions and revenue opportunities.
Deliver measurable revenue growth while improving user engagement with ad supported products.
Ensure robust quality control measures and seamless ad integration into FloSports’ platforms.
Partner with cross-functional teams to design and implement creative ad solutions that enhance both the user and advertiser experience.
Stay abreast of industry trends to ensure FloSports’ is leaning into improved ads products at all times
Build relationships with key advertising partners, as well as vendors to ensure growth.
Identify opportunities for innovation in ad technology, ensuring FloSports remains competitive in the media and ad tech space.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:
1-4 years of experience in Product Management, preferably with a focus on video ad tech within a media platform.
Familiarity with digital ad formats, ad serving platforms, and optimization strategies.
Proven ability to collaborate cross-functionally across the organization, with meaningful product launches that drove revenue growth.
Analytical product mindset with a passion for leveraging data to inform product decisions.
Demonstrated product sense for creating elegant, ad-supported experiences that balance user and business needs.
Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies and a collaborative approach to product development.
Experience with ad executions on native apps, including CTV and mobile.
