General Description:

• We have an immediate opening for a 3D Drafting Designer for CO2 Liquefaction and LNG Plants.
• This 3D Drafting Designer will be responsible for helping Engineering with the technical design of gas processing and refrigeration systems, Overall Plant Layout Design and 3D Drafting Design experience will be used for LCO2 and LNG Plant design and construction.

Essential Responsibilities:

In the role of 3D Drafting Designer, you will:

• Design and produce entire Plant Layout drawings.
• Produce Equipment 3D models such as pressure vessels, heat exchangers, and rotating driven equipment.
• Produce Piping 3D models for Process Hydrocarbons, CO2, NH3, Water, Oil, Glycol, Amine, Refrigerant, Nitrogen, Instrument Air, Heating Medium, etc. Services, following in-house Piping Specifications according to design basis B31.1, B31.3 & B16.5 codes.
• Produce Structural Steel 3D models for supporting skidded equipment.
• Produce Equipment, Structural and Piping detail, General Arrangement, and foundation detail drawings for shop and field fabrication.
• Produce Structural and Piping Bill of Materials and Piping Isometric drawings for shop and field fabrication.
• Run multiple model review meetings with project team members and/or external clients and create minutes of meeting with action items.
• Adhere to project schedules set by contract and report weekly on progress.
• Review vendor and Salof’s in-house coordination drawings/redlines to ensure compliance with project requirements.
• Coordinate with the piping engineering team and other design/manufacturing disciplines to resolve issues/concerns that may arise during the project in a timely manner. This includes, but is not limited to: schedule, change orders, non-conformance, and drawing/manufacturing defects.
• Validate delivered vendor equipment has been manufactured to issued IFC drawings and that the received equipment corresponds to the current 3D model and construction drawings.

Qualifications/Requirements:

• Experience with AutoCAD Plant 3D (P3D) – 3D Modeling is a must.
• Experience with Autodesk Advance Steel is a must.
• An Associate degree in Drafting & design is preferred or 3+ years’ experience is accepted.
• 5+ years’ experience in a similar position is preferred.
• AutoCAD Plant 3D Spec Editor knowledge is desired.
• Cryogenic experience is desired.
• Understand and being able to interpret Piping and Instrumentation Diagrams (P&IDs) is a must.
• AutoCAD Plant 3D - P&ID program knowledge is desired.
• Strong communication skills.
• Self-Starter, strong organization and communication skills.
