The Speech Language Pathology Clinical Fellow is responsible for providing comprehensive speech-language pathology services to early childhood and school-aged students, including assessment, diagnosis, and individual and group therapy, as well as independently administering assessments and completing thorough evaluations and documentation. The role involves close collaboration with teachers, school staff, and families, participation in staffing and ARD/IEP meetings, and serving as a resource to support student success. The ideal candidate is eager to gain specialized training in working with children with hearing loss in an auditory-oral setting, thrives in a collaborative environment, and enjoys working with young children.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide assessment and diagnosis of speech and language levels.
- Provide individual and/or group therapy to students.
- Serve as a resource to and collaborate with teachers and other school staff members.
- Provide information, support, and counseling to parents and families.
- Independently administer and score assessments, write thorough evaluation and progress reports, as well as plan,
- conduct, and document therapy sessions
- Participate in staffing meetings and Admission Review and Dismissal (ARD)/Individualized Educational Plan (IEP)
- meetings.
- Complete and maintain accurate, thorough, timely documentation and records for students.

- Demonstrates strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build positive, collaborative
- relationships with students, families and multidisciplinary team members. Bilingual preferred.
- Possesses strong organizational skills with the ability to gather information, prioritize tasks, and manage multiple
- concurrent projects.
- Maintains professionalism and sound judgment when working with confidential student information and diverse
- family needs.
- Displays a genuine passion for supporting student growth and fostering a positive, inclusive learning environment.
- Be willing to travel for consultations, conferences, and presentations.
Education and/or Experience:
- Candidate must have a master’s degree from a Speech Pathology Program.
Certificates, Licenses and Registrations:
- Speech-Language Pathology License (Preferred). Maintain state and ASHA requirements.
Physical Demands: While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand, walk, sit, use hand to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; talk; hear and have good vision. The employee must regularly lift and/or move 0-30 lbs.
