MEP Senior Engineer - Construction

You'll lead a small team, own the network architecture, and deliver resilient connectivity for high-profile live events, bridging the gap between enterprise networking and real-time IP broadcast infrastructure.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead the design of MEP systems for large-scale data center and mission critical projects across all phases from concept through construction administration
  • Develop and review engineering drawings, specifications, and calculations for mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems
  • Coordinate across disciplines including structural, architectural, and technology teams to deliver fully integrated designs
  • Conduct site visits, field investigations, and construction administration activities
  • Prepare and review technical reports, feasibility studies, and due diligence documents
  • Establish design standards, specifications, and criteria for mission critical projects
  • Mentor and provide technical guidance to junior engineers and design staff
  • Participate in client meetings, presentations, and business development activities
  • Ensure all designs meet relevant codes, standards, and client requirements
  • Support QA/QC processes across project deliverables

Skills/Must Have:

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering from an accredited university
  • 8+ years of MEP design experience, with a strong focus on data center or mission critical facilities
  • Hands-on experience with Revit and AutoCAD
  • Strong understanding of critical power distribution, UPS systems, generators, cooling systems, and redundancy design
  • Experience working in a consulting or A/E firm environment strongly preferred
  • Strong communication and client-facing skills

Salary:

  • Up to $230,000 - $250,000 Base Salary
