Sr. Java Developer with AWS

Job Type: Full-time or W2
Location: Plano TX / Jersey City / Columbus OH / Wilmington DE
Salary: $110k - $130k (depending on experience, including bonus)

[Key Responsibilities]

As a Senior Java Full Stack Developer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining end-to-end applications. Your expertise will span both front-end and back-end technologies, ensuring seamless integration and exceptional performance. Here are the key responsibilities:

• Full Stack Development:
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and deploy scalable web applications.
  • Implement responsive user interfaces using modern front-end frameworks (e.g., React, Angular, or Vue.js).
  • Develop RESTful APIs and integrate them with the front-end components.
• Back-End Development:
  • Design and implement robust, secure, and efficient server-side components using Java and related technologies.
  • Work with microservices architecture, ensuring scalability and fault tolerance.
  • Optimize database queries and performance (experience with Cassandra is a plus).
• Cloud Expertise:
  • Leverage AWS services for deployment, monitoring, and scaling.
  • Experience with AWS Lambda, API Gateway, and other relevant services.
• Quality Assurance:
  • Write unit tests and conduct code reviews to maintain code quality.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues across the stack.
• Additional Skills (Preferred):
  • Knowledge of the Photon framework for building real-time applications.
  • Familiarity with Oracle JET (JavaScript Extension Toolkit) for creating enterprise-grade web applications.

[Key Requirements]

• Proven experience as a Full Stack Developer, with a focus on Java technologies with at least 8 years of experience
• Strong understanding of microservices architecture and RESTful APIs.
• AWS certification (e.g., AWS Certified Developer) is a huge plus.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and a passion for continuous learning
• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to address complex technical challenges.
• Effective communication skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
