Facilities Technician
- Perform advanced diagnostics, troubleshooting, and repair of facility systems including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, compressed air, and building automation systems.
- Lead preventive and predictive maintenance programs to maximize equipment uptime and reliability.
- Serve as a technical resource and mentor to Facilities Technicians I and II.
- Coordinate and oversee contractors and vendors performing maintenance or installation work.
- Analyze equipment performance data and implement improvements to optimize efficiency and reduce downtime.
- Support capital projects, equipment installations, and facility upgrades.
- Ensure compliance with all safety, environmental, and regulatory requirements.
- Develop and update standard operating procedures (SOPs) and maintenance documentation.
- Participate in root cause analysis (RCA) for equipment failures and implement corrective actions.
- Support audits and inspections, ensuring readiness and compliance with company standards.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with engineering, production, and EHS teams.
- Respond to emergency maintenance issues and provide on-call support as needed.
- Identify and drive continuous improvement initiatives across facility systems.
- Comply with all company Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) policies, procedures, and safe work instructions.
- Promptly identify and report hazards, near misses, and incidents.
- Strong technical expertise in multiple facility systems (mechanical, electrical, HVAC, controls).
- Proven ability to troubleshoot complex systems and lead problem resolution.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Strong leadership and mentoring skills.
- Knowledge of regulatory and safety standards applicable to manufacturing environments.
- Continuous improvement mindset with strong analytical skills.
- 5+ years of experience in facilities maintenance, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
- High School Diploma or GED required, technical certification or associate degree preferred.
- Advanced knowledge of facility systems and maintenance practices.
- Experience with CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management Systems).
- Strong understanding of electrical, mechanical, and control systems.
- OSHA certification or equivalent safety training preferred.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics.
- Full-Time, Hourly
- Shifts may include day, night, weekend, or rotating schedules depending on operational needs.
