We're searching for an amazing rock star who can provide general and technical oversight of point of care and referred testing performed at SBH and Clinic sites. Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate LCH lab activities and programs across multiple locations.
- Regularly evaluate laboratory functioning and share insights with clinical ops leadership.
- Implement and monitor killer lab policies, procedures, and protocols.
- Conduct awesome laboratory trainings and coach our testing personnel.
- Be our go-to guru for regulatory compliance and deliver monthly site audits.
- Assist with OSHA-related compliance programs with flair.
- Keep medical laboratory equipment in top shape with scheduled validations and maintenance.
- Resolve lab-related issues and keep the peace with your stellar problem-solving skills.
- Manage lab quality like a ninja by participating in quality improvement programs and data reviews.
- Ensure CLIA certificates and test menus are up-to-date and accurate.
- Perform diagnostic tests and train staff on specimen collection like a pro.
- Report critical lab values with finesse and coordinate patient follow-ups.
- Uphold dignity and respect at all times for all patients and team members.
- Foster effective team relations to help the lab meet its epic goals!
Minimum Qualifications
- Associate degree in Medical Laboratory Technician, and MLT(ASCP) certified or equivalent.
- CPR/BLS training is a must!
- Amazing 3 years of point of care and/or lab experience in a clinical setting.
- Phlebotomy experience is a bonus!
- Stay HIPAA compliant with ease and uphold client confidentiality like a vault!
- Strong ability to multitask and work under pressure in a multidisciplinary team.
- Enthusiasm for preventive health care programs.
- Experience with computers and electronic medical records is a plus!
- Rock-solid experience with Microsoft Office applications.
- Experience in training both laboratory and non-laboratory staff is a feather in your cap.
- Prior point of care testing experience is preferred.
- If you're bilingual in English/Spanish, that's just the cherry on top!
