Pay: $75/hr base +Significant RVU bonuses
Average total pay: $88/hr (range $82–$95/hr over the past 12 months)

About the Role

Affinity Urgent Care is expanding and looking for a confident, patient-focused Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA) to join our growing team.

You’ll practice full-scope urgent care medicine — from acute illness and injuries to occupational health and procedures — with the support of an experienced clinical and administrative team.

We’ve recently increased staffing resources, added a mid-shift provider position to balance patient loads, and implemented several initiatives focused on provider work-life balance and smoother workflow.

What You’ll Do

• Evaluate, diagnose, and treat patients of all ages
• Perform procedures such as suturing, I&Ds, splinting, and wound care
• Order and interpret X-rays, labs, and EKGs
• Conduct DOT physicals, employment exams, and Workers’ Compensation evaluations
• Deliver high-quality, compassionate care while educating patients on treatment plans and preventive health
• Accurately and efficiently document patient encounters in (EMR) system

What We’re Looking For

• Ability to work without direct supervision and practice autonomously
• Urgent Care or Emergency Department experience highly preferred
• Active unrestricted Nurse Practitioner or Physician’s Assistant license in Texas
• BLS/ ACLS certification
• DEA license
• Board certified
• DOT certificated (required within 90 days of employment)

Shifts Requirements

• Full Time Status: Minimum 12 shifts/month
• PRN Status: Minimum 3 shifts/month
