Your New Role
Location: West Austin, TX
Diagnose, troubleshoot, service, repair, and maintain residential HVAC systems
Perform preventive maintenance, inspections, system evaluations, and repair recommendations
Service and repair heating and cooling systems, heat pumps, air conditioners, furnaces, communicating systems, inverter systems, ductless mini-splits, zoning systems, and indoor air quality equipment
Utilize modern diagnostic tools, digital reporting platforms, photos, and service documentation to accurately capture job details
Communicate clearly and professionally with homeowners regarding system performance, repair options, replacement opportunities, and comfort solutions
Present repair, upgrade, indoor air quality, and replacement options ethically and professionally
Support maintenance agreement growth and customer retention initiatives
Maintain a clean, organized, and professional service vehicle
Follow company safety standards, service procedures, and customer communication expectations
Collaborate with dispatch, office staff, service leadership, and installation teams to deliver an outstanding customer experience
Participate in ongoing HVAC training and manufacturer education programs to stay current with evolving technology

At least 5 years of residential HVAC service experience required
EPA Certification required
NATE Certification is a plus
Valid driver's license preferred with an acceptable driving record
Ability to pass applicable background and driving requirements
Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills
Experience servicing residential HVAC systems, air conditioning systems, heating systems, heat pumps, and ventilation equipment
Knowledge of electrical troubleshooting, refrigerant circuits, airflow, controls, ductwork, and system performance
Experience with Carrier, Mitsubishi, inverter systems, ductless mini-splits, communicating equipment, or high-efficiency HVAC systems is a plus
Ability to communicate effectively with homeowners and present service recommendations professionally
Comfortable using digital reporting tools, service software, and job documentation platforms
Experience with ServiceTitan or similar field service management software is a plus
Ability to work in attics, crawlspaces, mechanical closets, rooftops, and outdoor conditions
Ability to lift and move HVAC equipment and materials as needed
Strong work ethic, attention to detail, and commitment to delivering quality service
Willingness to learn, accept coaching, and grow within the organization
