Project Manager: Data Center Position Overview
The Project Manager for Data Center will oversee the planning, execution, and delivery of data center projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within scope, and within budget. This role requires strong leadership skills and the ability to manage multiple stakeholders, while also addressing mission-critical requirements in construction and MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing) systems.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage data center construction projects from inception to completion.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure project objectives are met.
- Develop project plans, schedules, and budgets.
- Conduct regular project meetings with stakeholders to provide updates and address any issues.
- Monitor project progress and performance, adjusting plans as necessary to meet deadlines.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations, particularly in mission-critical environments.
- Oversee MEP systems integration and ensure their alignment with project goals.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
- Proven experience as a Project Manager in data center or mission-critical environments.
- Strong understanding of construction processes and MEP systems.
- Excellent organizational and leadership skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and work under pressure.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
