For additional information about APA Corporation, please visit: Portfolio Sustainability Investors Specific Responsibilities The IT Support Analyst for Apache Corporation will be a member of Apache's Information Technology team at the company's Houston, Texas office reporting to the IT Applications Manager. This role will be primarily responsible for the following: Provide technical and functional support for operations applications. Coordinate system updates, configuration changes, and installations of hardware and software, and diagnose technical problems to determine proper solutions. Prepare deliverables such as project plans, design documents, test documentation, training materials and administration/procedural guides to end user community. Cultivate a close working relationship with IT and operational resources to facilitate maintenance, implementation, and troubleshooting of software applications. Create, analyze, and validate detailed functional specifications and facilitate design sessions with the business and technical teams. Deliver end user training. Qualifications & Experience The successful candidate will have the following qualifications and experience: Minimum bachelor's degree in information technology (MIS, CIS) or related field. Strong technical understanding of software design, implementation, and support Project Management experience preferred. Proficiency in SQL preferred. 3-5 plus years Oil and Gas industry experience preferred. Strong understanding of Oil and Gas principles. Strong interpersonal and communication skills. Excellent organizational and time management skills.
