Administrative Professional
Primary financial assessor responsible for the completion and entry of the initial and updated Financial Assessments. Assisting with the Open Access Intake process and procedures. Interact professionally and courteously with clientele, representatives from other agencies, and the public at large in reception and referral role. Knowledgeable in office procedures and administrative support work for clerical backup, such as scheduling appointments, taking co-pays, and answering the telephone and routing calls. EXAMPLES OF WORK PERFORMED:
- Completing and entering initial and updated Financial Assessments.
- Assists people in completing forms.
- Serves as clerical backup, make appointments, answers routine questions from the public.
- Coordinates and schedules appointments.
- Transmits material to proper authorizing officials.
- Maintain and work with files of a confidential nature.
- Utilize a computer for data entry and consumer identification.
- Provides assistance with monthly insurance verifications.
- Experience in administrative support and clerical work and data entry.
- Must have current valid Texas driver's license and current and continued proof of liability insurance.
Graduation from a standard senior high school or equivalent. KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES
- Working knowledge of business terminology, spelling, punctuation, grammar, basic arithmetic and office practices and procedures.
- Computer skills including Microsoft Word and Excel to operate spreadsheet programs.
- Ability to accurately file clerical records and to compose routine letters and memoranda.
- Ability to work as part of a team.
- Ability of travel locally 5% of the time.
- Must have excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Ability to learn about and implement trauma-informed care practices within the scope of work for the position.
- Must have and maintain a level of general health that permits the performance of the job duties and ability to maintain regular attendance as set forth in Center policies and procedures.
- Level of general health permitting stooping, bending, climbing stairs, and participating in moderately active recreational activities. Physical ability to perform CPR and PMAB skills.
- Must be able to lift up to 30lbs.
Hours: Mon-Thur 10am-7pm; Fri 8am-5pm
Salary: $15.00 per hour; $31,200 annually
