Hospitalist, El Paso, Texas (1009)
The Job
This highly regarded, Physician owned, and managed medical group has been successfully practicing for twenty-eight years, garnering a large number of awards, both local and national, for medical practice innovation and excellence.
Schedules offered are both 7/7 and traditional.
While the group is large, with multiple outpatient clinic sites, their practice is geared towards the feel of a smaller group where physicians get to know their patients and have unparalleled support in delivering quality care. Their team of hospitalists round on the group’s inpatients within hospitals and post-acute care facilities. The group’s Hospitalists enjoy an enviable call schedule and are backed up by the group’s large number of outpatient physicians when needed (most of whom also hold hospital privileges and skills). This prevents overwork and long hours during crunch times.
The group is multi-specialty with an emphasis on the total healthcare team similar to the renowned model of the Mayo Clinic - highly collaborative between Hospitalists, specialists and the primary care outpatient clinical physicians in providing cohesive care to each and every patient. Their model allows you, as a Hospitalist, to practice medicine without distractions – each hospitalist is supported by a highly competent, dedicated support staff.
Great emphasis is placed upon retaining their physicians by insuring a healthy balance between work and personal lives. Evidence of Job satisfaction is a near zero professional turn-over rate among staff and partners over decades of practice.
Qualifications
Graduate of an accredited medical school and Residency Program in specialty. Current Board Certification or Board Eligibility (only if within 2 years of Residency graduation). A record clean of malpractice and no adverse or disciplinary actions against your license. Licensed to practice medicine in the state or license already in progress.
Compensation/Benefits
This practice holds an excellent financial package and superb incentives (top 10% within Specialty). Additional Financial incentives for Quality based upon outcomes and patient satisfaction (not quantity) performance. The group’s overall revenues last year exceeded two billion dollars across 1400+ providers within the group across Texas and Florida.
Profit sharing, stock options and lucrative benefits including a generous retirement plan. All within a work environment that is professional, quality oriented, modern and friendly.
