Job Title: Lead Solutions Engineer, AWS Connect

Location-Type: Remote (Preference for EST/CST, anywhere USA)

Start Date Is: ASAP (2-3 weeks notice acceptable)

Duration: 4-month contract-to-hire

Compensation Range: $82-96/hour; Conversion salary: $170K-$190K

Job Description:
Support and lead a digital customer experience company's telephony/cloud contact center practice with a primary focus on AWS Connect expertise.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities:

• Set up new AWS Connect instances and manage call flows (creation/modification).

• Integrate AWS Connect with Salesforce CRM, Zendesk, and other systems.

• Standardize AWS Connect technical architecture across 40-50 client instances.

• Build and troubleshoot AWS Connect flows interacting with AWS services (Lambda, DynamoDB, IAM, Kinesis).

• Provide technical support and lead customer interactions, including video meetings.

• Assist in the sales cycle, supporting RFPs and proposals for AWS Connect practice.

Requirements:

• Must-Haves:

  • Hands-on AWS Connect SME (not an architect).

  • 5 years of deep AWS Connect experience.

  • Expertise in Lambda functions, Python scripting, API gateways.

  • Experience in cloud contact center environments.

  • External client-facing experience with third-party clients for AWS Connect.

  • Ability to gather client requirements, translate them into technical roadmaps, and execute hands-on in AWS Connect.

• Nice-to-Haves:

  • Experience working in enterprise-level environments.

  • Strong communication and leadership skills in client interactions.

  • Prior involvement in AWS Connect sales support processes.
