Systems Design Assistant

What you will do
The Systems Design Assistant plays a key role in supporting the Systems Engineering and Controls technical support teams by ensuring smooth coordination of administrative, operational, and client support activities. This role helps streamline day to day processes, supports customer needs, and enables technical leaders to focus on strategy, system performance, and team leadership.
How you will do it
You will partner closely with the Systems Engineering Leader, technical support teams, and customers to manage workflows, support system troubleshooting, and ensure accurate tracking of tasks, data, and deliverables.
Key responsibilities include
- Support processing of standard client requests, including troubleshooting and testing systems to ensure proper function
- Track and manage project action items to ensure timely completion
- Monitor deliverables, deadlines, and project milestones
- Validate and review team timesheets for accuracy and compliance
- Provide administrative support to the Controls technical support team and customers
- Perform data entry tasks with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail
- Develop and maintain call scripts to support consistent customer interactions
- Manage correspondence across multiple channels, ensuring timely and professional communication
- Maintain and update customer data and related systems in alignment with company standards
- Support workflow coordination and follow up on ongoing tasks
- Assist in improving operational processes and overall team efficiency
What we look for
- Associate degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in administrative, technical support, or project coordination roles
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast paced environment
- High attention to detail and accuracy
- Effective communication and collaboration skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and data tracking systems
- Experience supporting engineering, controls, or technical teams preferred

HIRING HOURLY RANGE: $18-$25. (Hourly rate to be determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the applicant, internal equity, and alignment with market data.)
