AGR is hiring a Workshop Assistant for our Oil & Gas fabrication client in Houston, 77041 - US Nationals only
Duties include:
Assist in planning and coordinating daily fabrication activities for welders, fitters, helpers, and material handlers.
Monitor production progress and report status updates to the Workshop Supervisor.
Ensure employees have the necessary drawings, materials, tools, and equipment to perform assigned tasks.
Support the implementation of production schedules and priorities.
Track labor hours and productivity for ongoing projects.
Coordinate material movements between fabrication, painting, storage, and shipping areas.
Verify that work is performed according to approved drawings, procedures, and quality requirements.
Conduct daily walkthroughs to identify production delays, safety concerns, and housekeeping issues.
Assist with workforce planning and manpower allocation based on project needs.
