Job Description

JOB TITLE : Tactical Intelligence Family of Systems SME, TS/SCI Clearance, Fort Hood, TX

SUMMARY : System Engineer Senior, DCGS-A Subject Matter Expert - Fort Hood, TX - TS/SCI Clearance Required. Primarily supports software for the DCGS-Army Family of Systems: IFS, P-MFWS, GWS, TGS, CDSS to include future replacement systems.

How the DCGS Engineer will make an impact:

• Initialize, place into operation and troubleshoot the software interfaces of specific C5ISR communication systems being supported (ex. IFS /P-MFWS/GWS/TGS/CDSS).
• Conduct software installations, configurations, patching and maintenance of DCGS-A family of systems.
• Responsible for backup and disaster recovery of Linux and Windows operating systems.
• Provide informal training and software mentorship.
• Provide software, hardware, network troubleshooting, problem identification, and resolution.
• Assist with remote system administration software to include troubleshooting and installation.
• Assists Information Assurance staff with all documentation required for accreditation and any other associated directives and regulations.
• Participates in special projects as required.

What you'll need to be successful:

• BA/BS, 5+ years’ experience. (4 years of additional work experience may be substituted for an BA/BS. Degree)
• Must have an active TS/SCI clearance and willing to obtain a CI Poly if required.
• Valid CompTIA Security+ CE Certification
• Experience with Microsoft Windows/Linux/VMWare server and client software, patching, upgrading, and maintaining.
• Understanding of networking principles and system network configuration.
• Some travel is required.

• Military experience (35T)
• DCGS-A Maintainers Course Completion (3.2.5)
