Landscaper/Laborer
Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and hardworking Landscape Laborer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for outdoor work and possess skills in various landscaping tasks. This role involves maintaining and enhancing the beauty of outdoor spaces, ensuring that properties are well-kept and inviting. The Landscape Laborer will work collaboratively with a team to execute landscape maintenance, hardscaping projects, and seasonal tasks such as snow plowing.
Duties
- Perform groundskeeping tasks including mowing, trimming, and edging lawns.
- Assist in landscape maintenance by planting flowers, shrubs, and trees.
- Operate hand tools and power equipment for various landscaping projects.
- Implement irrigation systems to ensure proper watering of plants and lawns.
- Maintain hardscape features such as patios, walkways, and retaining walls.
- Conduct snow plowing during winter months to keep pathways clear.
- Follow safety protocols while using equipment and handling materials.
- Collaborate with team members to complete projects efficiently and effectively.
Requirements
- Experience in landscape maintenance or related fields is preferred.
- Knowledge of groundskeeping practices and lawn care techniques.
- Familiarity with mechanical tools and equipment used in landscaping.
- Ability to perform physical labor outdoors in various weather conditions.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality work.
- Willingness to learn new skills related to landscaping and maintenance tasks.
- A valid driver’s license may be required for transportation to job sites.
