Job Description

The Manufacturing Recruiter and Onboarding Specialist will oversee recruitment efforts for a variety of manufacturing and operations positions while coordinating onboarding activities for new hires. This role works closely with hiring managers to attract quality talent, manage the hiring process, and deliver a smooth onboarding experience that supports employee engagement and retention.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the full recruitment lifecycle for manufacturing, production, warehouse, maintenance, and other operational positions.
• Partner with hiring managers to understand staffing needs and develop effective recruiting strategies.
• Source candidates through job boards, referrals, networking, and other recruiting channels.
• Review applications, conduct phone screenings, coordinate interviews, and facilitate the hiring process.
• Extend employment offers and assist with pre-employment requirements, including background checks and drug screenings.
• Coordinate new hire onboarding, orientation sessions, and completion of employment documentation.
• Maintain accurate applicant and employee records within the applicant tracking system (ATS) and HRIS.
• Ensure compliance with employment laws, company policies, and hiring best practices throughout the recruitment process.
• Build relationships with local workforce partners, community organizations, and educational institutions to support hiring initiatives.
• Monitor recruiting metrics and recommend process improvements to enhance hiring efficiency and candidate experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field preferred.
• Minimum of 2 years of recruiting experience, preferably supporting manufacturing, industrial, or operations environments.
• Experience managing high-volume hiring and coordinating onboarding activities.
• Familiarity with applicant tracking systems (ATS), HRIS platforms, and Microsoft Office applications.
• Strong communication, organizational, and time management skills.
• Ability to manage multiple openings simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail.
• Knowledge of employment laws and recruiting best practices.
