Job Summary:

The Lead Qualification Specialist at Home Franchise Concepts is a role focused on being the first point of contact for potential franchise owners across all company brands. Key responsibilities include rapidly reaching out to inbound leads via phone, text, and email; qualifying candidates both financially and operationally; and ensuring prospects understand the entrepreneurial nature of franchise ownership. Once initial qualifications are met, the Candidate Qualifier schedules candidates with an Advisor for the next stage. The role requires consistent follow-up and reporting feedback to the marketing team to enhance lead quality. Success in this role is measured by rapid response times, high contact rates, effective qualification of candidates, and seamless scheduling of appointments, all of which contribute to key performance metrics.

Supervisory Responsibilities:

  • This position has no supervisory responsibilities

Duties / Responsibilities:

  • Receive and manage all inbound leads for the Home Franchise Concepts portfolio. 
  • Initiate rapid outreach via phone, email, and text within minutes of lead inquiry. 
  • Conduct multiple follow-ups attempts to maximize contact rates. 
  • Update and maintain accurate and timely records in Salesforce. Collaborate with the sales team to ensure a smooth transition of qualified leads, including scheduling
  • Discovery calls as part of the hand-off process.
  • Engage candidates in meaningful conversations to uncover their goals, financial capabilities, and operational readiness. 
  • Clearly explain the expectations of franchise ownership 
  • Apply a consultative approach by asking thoughtful, challenging questions to help both candidates and HFC assess mutual compatibility.
  • Disqualify leads that do not meet minimum requirements or demonstrate a lack of alignment with brand expectations. 
  • When qualifications are met, schedule the candidate for a Discovery appointment with the appropriate Franchise Advisor ensuring complete and accurate notes with relevant context to support a seamless handoff.
  • Work closely with the Franchise Development Marketing team to provide feedback on lead sources and quality, ensuring continuous improvement of lead generation efforts. 
  • Participate in team meetings, training sessions, and ongoing development opportunities. 

Required Skills / Abilities:

  • Comfortable making a high volume of outbound calls and messages daily.  
  • Strong conversational and active listening skills; able to build rapport quickly.  
  • Confident asking challenging or thought-provoking questions to qualify candidates.  
  • Basic understanding of financial requirements for business ownership (liquid capital, net worth, investment ranges).  
  • Highly organized and self-starter, with proven ability to manage multiple leads and priorities.  
  • Proficiency with Salesforce, Office365, Zoom.  
  • Team-oriented with a strong sense of accountability and collaboration.  

Education and Experience Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum of one year of sales support experience

Physical Requirements:

  • Light-duty work environment – primarily office-based with minimal physical exertion.
  • Ability to sit for extended periods while working on a computer.
  • Occasional standing or walking for presentations or facilitation.
  • Ability to lift and carry up to 25 lbs occasionally.
  • Hybrid model – Work from the office on Tues/Wed/Thurs and from home on Mon/Fri.

Actual pay will be determined by factors including candidate experience and qualifications, education and work location. At Home Franchise Concepts, we offer a highly competitive benefits package designed to support you and your family. Our offerings include medical, dental, and vision insurance, Flexible Spending Accounts (FSAs), Health Savings Accounts (HSAs), and supplemental life insurance. Associates are also eligible for an annual discretionary bonus and can participate in our 401(k) retirement plan, which includes matching contributions equal to 100% of the first three percent of eligible compensation contributed and 50% of the next two percent.
