: Job Title HST Project Coordinator Agency Texas A&M Agrilife Extension Service Department County Program D12 Proposed Minimum Salary Commensurate Job Location Weslaco, Texas Job Type Staff Summary The Project Coordinator, under general supervision, coordinates and assists with the completion of projects for Healthy South Texas programs. Develops and coordinates project plans through full implementation. Responsibilities

• Works with County Extension Agent - FCH to determine project needs.
• Monitors and reports on financial activity for assigned projects. May make program purchases, support completing paperwork for financial transactions and travel reimbursements, and track program expenses.
• Supports program sign-up and registration processes.
• Coordinates program evaluation activities including using the data collection portal to set-up evaluation series and enter results.
• Maintains database integrity, security, and accuracy.
• Coordinates with agents and state business office to secure project support items including program materials, office supplies, etc.
• Develops marketing materials (digital and hard copy) for program marketing.
• Creates content calendar for social media accounts and social media posts and graphics/videos needed to support posts.
• Monitors social media account interactions and reports on activity for assigned projects.
• Maintains social media integrity, security, and accuracy.
• May supervise other staff.

Qualifications Education and Experience:

• Bachelor's degree in applicable field or equivalent combination of education or experience.
• Three years of related experience in project coordination/administration.

Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

• Knowledge of word processing and spreadsheet applications.
• Knowledge of standard proofreading.
• Ability to multitask and work cooperatively with others.
• Ability to prioritize, manage multiple projects, and meet deadlines.

Preferred Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

• Bilingual.
• Experience in social media marketing.
