Operations Generalist

Careerscape is recruiting on behalf of our client, a fast-growing e-commerce company, for an Operations Generalist to join their fully remote team. Day to day, you will juggle a mix of recurring tasks and one-off fires, tracking orders, updating spreadsheets, coordinating with warehouse and shipping partners, and jumping in wherever a team needs an extra set of hands. Responsibilities

• Monitor daily order flow and flag fulfillment issues before they impact customers
• Maintain and update internal trackers, spreadsheets, and standard operating procedures
• Coordinate with warehouse, shipping, and third-party logistics partners on order status
• Assist customer support with escalated order, shipping, and returns inquiries
• Help onboard new vendors and maintain accurate vendor and product records
• Support inventory counts and reconcile discrepancies across systems
• Prepare basic reports on order volume, shipping times, and operational metrics
• Identify recurring bottlenecks and suggest simple process improvements
• Assist cross-functional teams such as marketing, finance, and customer service with ad hoc projects
• Help maintain organization of shared drives, tools, and internal documentation

Requirements

• High school diploma required, associate or bachelor degree preferred
• 0 to 1 years of professional experience, internships and part-time work count
• Comfortable working with spreadsheets including basic formulas and data entry
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Highly organized with excellent attention to detail
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and shifting priorities in a fast-paced environment
• Self-motivated and reliable when working independently in a remote setting
• Eagerness to learn new tools and processes quickly
• Experience with e-commerce platforms or customer service tools is a plus
