Office Support Manager

We are looking for a responsible Office Support Manager to perform a variety of administrative and clerical tasks. This person MUST have previous childcare experience and strong office and management skills. Duties of this position include providing support to our managers and employees, assisting in daily office needs and managing our company's general administrative activities. Responsibilities - Answer and direct phone calls
- Organize and schedule appointments
- Plan meetings
- Write and distribute email, correspondence memos, letters, and forms
- Assist in the preparation of regularly scheduled activities
- Update and maintain office policies and procedures and minimum standards
- Order office supplies and research new deals and suppliers
- Maintain contact lists
- Provide general support to classroom teachers
- Liaise with executive and senior administrative assistants to handle requests and queries from senior managers
- Train to drive and transport children to and from school for activities
- Substitute in classrooms as needed
Skills - Proven experience as an administrative assistant or office admin assistant
- Knowledge of office management systems and procedures
- Knowledge of the childcare industry
- KNOWLEDGE OF ALL THINGS PERTAINING TO TEXAS MINIMUM STANDARDS
- Working knowledge of office equipment, like printers and
- Proficiency in MS Office (MS Excel and MS PowerPoint, in particular)
- Excellent time management skills and the ability to prioritize work
- Attention to detail and problem solving skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to multi-task
- High School degree; additional qualification as an Administrative assistant or Secretary will be a plus
Job Type: Full-time Pay: $16.00 - $18.00 per hour Benefits: - Employee discount
