Travel CT/Rad Tech Job Details

• Location: San Angelo, TX (76903) – Texas healthcare jobs
• Employment Type: Travel Radiologic Technologist
• Healthcare Setting: Cath Lab
• Assignment Duration: 13 weeks (September 15, 2025 – December 15, 2025)
• Shift: Day shift, 5x8-hour shifts (06:30 – 15:30), Monday through Friday
• On-Call: Rotational 24-hour call, 8-12 days per month (including one weekend per month)
• Estimated Weekly Pay: $2,500 – $2,560

Qualifications for CT/Radiologic Technologist

• Minimum 1 year of recent Cath Lab experience in a healthcare setting
• Travel healthcare experience highly preferred
• ARRT certification with Texas MRT License or RCIS required
• Certifications: ACLS, BLS (AHA), ARRT R, CCI RCIS
• COVID-19 and Flu vaccines required (medical/religious exemptions considered)
• Epic charting system experience preferred
• Must be available to complete required labs within 72 hours of offer acceptance
• Local candidates within 110 miles are not accepted

CT/Rad Tech Responsibilities

• Perform cath lab scrub, pan, and closures for heart and leg procedures, including device insertions (pacemakers/ICDs)
• Assist with interventional radiology (IR) and electrophysiology (EP) procedures (training provided)
• Monitor and interpret cardiac rhythms and hemodynamics
• Set up and operate specialized equipment (Impella, IABP, Penumbra, Shockwave, IVUS, OCT, Claris/ensite X)
• Maintain sterile field and adhere to infection control protocols
• Participate in rotational on-call coverage
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams including IV, PT, RT, pharmacy, and social services
• Document procedures and patient care accurately in Epic
