Residential Sales Representative

The Residential Sales Representative is responsible for establishing, developing, and maintaining positive business and customer relationships while meeting monthly sales goals. They will train to understand the full use and benefits of Culligan products and services. A Residential Sales Representative must have a proficient understanding of residential Culligan products and will be responsible for assisting residential leads/ potential customers with a team of other Residential Sales Representatives.

Duties and responsibilities include promoting a long-term relationship-building approach to sales to improve customer satisfaction and retention with residential customers, developing and improving standard/best practices in the sales toolbox, corresponding with all leads and appointments as scheduled, attending scheduled appointments assigned with professionalism and integrity, maintaining accurate records of all sales activities in relevant database, learning, maintaining and applying overall knowledge and technical information as it relates to the sales of all residential Culligan products, understanding customers' needs and presenting viable solutions, making an effective sales presentation so that the customer is adequately educated about the products and services available, clearly and completely documenting installation arrangements, pumps and other related equipment, check electrical/drain, taking ownership of a new customer's account, and following up with every new customer to ensure complete satisfaction and secure referrals, maintaining security of all customer information, participating in all promotional activities (trade shows, exhibits, etc.) as required, obtaining minimum sales standards, and performing other related duties as assigned by management.

Qualifications include a high school diploma or general education degree (GED), or one to three months related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience, computer skills required, certificates, licenses and registrations required, and other skills required.

Physical demands and work environment include frequently required to stand, walk, sit, and utilize hand and finger dexterity, occasionally required to climb, balance, bend, stoop, kneel or crawl, continually required to talk or hear, occasionally exposed to wet and/or humid conditions (non-weather), occasionally work near moving mechanical parts, rarely work in high, precarious places, rarely work around fumes, airborne particles, or toxic chemicals, occasionally exposure to outside weather conditions, rarely exposure to extreme heat or cold (non-weather), rarely to never exposure to bloodborne and airborne pathogens or infectious materials, while performing the duties of this job, the noise level in the work environment is usually quiet to moderate, the employee must occasionally lift and/or move more than 75 pounds / frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds / continually lift and/or move up to 25 pounds, specific vision abilities required by this job include: close vision; distance vision; peripheral vision; depth perception and ability to adjust focus, additional remarks regarding work environment: frequently attending scheduled appointments in new businesses and/or homes, the environment of these locations may be unknown, specialized equipment, machines, or vehicles used: N/A.
