The Position

Our client is seeking to fill a Junior Commercial Lender role in the San Antonio, TX market. The selected candidate shall be responsible for developing, soliciting, and promoting the Commercial Lending Line of Business.

This position offers a generous salary of up to $105K plus bonus and a full benefits program.

Junior Commercial Lender responsibilities include:

• Generating new commercial business through prospecting, outside calling, networking and referrals.
• Making commercial loans that maintain an acceptable level of performance.
• Effective monitoring, administration, and maintenance of existing commercial banking portfolio in accordance with the organization’s standards
• Performing sales activities to develop new relationships with business clients.
• Developing and maintaining referral networks with local insurance agents, real estate brokers, accountants, attorneys, and other professionals.
• Maintaining credit quality in accordance with the organization’s guidelines.
• Ensuring compliance with consumer protection statutes/regulations.

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.
• Two or more years of experience in the financial industry preferred.
• Some sales experience preferred
• Ability to work effectively with individuals and groups in managing customer relationships.
• Excellent presentation, verbal, and written communication skills.
• Possess exceptional interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate clearly across all lines of business.
• Knowledge of Word and Excel.
