Job Description

Essential Functions:

• Participate in the entire lifecycle, from design through the development and test processes to production support.
• Tasked with building and maintaining highly scalable data processing pipelines using BigData technologies and SOA architecture.
• Implement continuous integration, testing, deployment practices and automation frameworks to increase productivity.
• Work with architectural and security teams to design, build, and maintain services that are compliant and meet Visa security standards.
• Participate in cross-group and internal customer feature demos.

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications

• Minimum of 6 months of work experience or a Bachelor's Degree

• Hands-on experience with all aspects of software development: data, server-side, and open-source software.
• Knowledge in AI/ML, especially solution building using ChatGPT and GenAI, Github Copilot
• Databricks, Kafka, Presto, Solr, Nifi, Airflow, Sqoop
• Willingness to adapt quickly and learn newer technologies
• Software development knowledge using Java or Python
• Basic knowledge and training in Bigdata technologies like Hive and Spark
• Ability to understand and write complex SQL queries for development & data analysis
• Basic experience on Unix and shell scripting
• Knowledge on standard CI/CD processes, specifically Jenkins CI/CD

Additional Information

Work Hours: Varies upon the needs of the department.

Travel Requirements: This position requires travel 5-10% of the time.

Mental/Physical Requirements: This position will be performed in an office setting. The position will require the incumbent to sit and stand at a desk, communicate in person and by telephone, frequently operate standard office equipment, such as telephones and computers.

U.S. APPLICANTS ONLY: The estimated salary range for a new hire into this position is 95,200.00 to 134,600.00 USD per year, which may include potential sales incentive payments (if applicable). Salary may vary depending on job-related factors which may include knowledge, skills, experience, and location. In addition, this position may be eligible for bonus and equity.
