Position Overview
The Health Outcomes Data Analyst coordinates and conducts rapid cycle evaluation and analytics projects to surface data insights that advance OCHIN’s capacity to be a driving force for health equity. This position will closely partner with OCHIN leaders and subject matter experts to conduct data-driven, evidence-based analyses that help surface and address inequities in care delivery and outcomes across OCHIN’s network.
Essential Duties
Conduct systematic literature reviews to inform analyses
- Establish and implement equity, justice, and data de-colonization frameworks that can be applied to data analytics projects on the Evaluation and Analytics Team
- Conduct rapid-cycle evaluations and analytics that generate data insights that can be used to drive internal decision-making and external policy and advocacy efforts
- Develop and apply quantitative analytic methods to identify, collect, process, and analyze large data sets.
- Generate high quality, readily interpretable deliverables (e.g., data tables, graphs, charts, study reports) and package findings for executive level stakeholders
- Analyze clinical quality measure performance across OCHIN’s network and surface bright spots and recommendations for improvement
- Collect, validate, analyze, and interpret data-based findings, complimenting and supplementing additional efforts (e.g., qualitative) where applicable, towards refinement of program efforts and determination of evidence-base for program interventions.
- Build, maintain, and continuously seek opportunities to improve systems and processes for assigned data collection, analysis, and reporting (e.g., health equity analyses, other assigned projects)
- Assist OCHIN in obtaining and using data to drive change and improve outcomes
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously to help OCHIN improve products, services, and outcomes
- Continuously seek opportunities to improve OCHIN’s systems and processes for evaluation
- Build and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders
- Maintain current knowledge of cutting-edge empirical methods in social science, particularly with regards to data de-colonization, equity, and justice
- Work and communicate across disciplines and OCHIN teams
- Actively participate in internal OCHIN cross-departmental project teams as needed (e.g. Research, Clinical, HCCN)

Requirements
- Minimum of three (3) years of experience in rapid cycle evaluation or implementation science
- Bachelor’s degree in statistics, biostatistics, public health, or a related field required; Master’s degree preferred
- Experience working with health outcomes data desirable . Experience applying approaches to data justice and de-colonization preferred.
- Intermediate level of proficiency working with MS Excel, including formulas, calculations, charts, graphs, etc.
- Experience with Tableau.
- Experience in a telecommuter role desirable, including use of remote technologies (e.g., Zoom)
- Demonstrated experience with program evaluation.
- Excellent interpersonal, intercultural, and customer service skills.
- Excellent communicator with the ability to successfully communicate with a wide range of roles and personalities, both written and spoken.
- Possess a learning mindset and curiosity for new knowledge
- Strong time management skills and demonstrated capability to work on multiple projects at one time
- Strong organizational skills, especially around documentation and information management

Base Pay Overview
The typical offer range for this role is minimum to midpoint ($87,767), with the midpoint representing the average pay in a national market scope for this position. Please keep in mind that this range represents the pay range for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual salary offer will consider a wide range of factors directly relevant to this position, including, but not limited to, skills, knowledge, training, responsibility, and experience, as well as internal equity and alignment with market data.
