Job Title: Insurance Specialist

Location: Fort Worth, TX (Onsite for first 90 days; hybrid option after)

About Our Client:

Our client is a physician-owned infectious disease practice offering clinic, pharmacy, and infusion services. They are transitioning billing operations in-house and building a strong insurance coordination team to support patient care and accurate reimbursement.

Job Description:

Addison Group is seeking an Insurance Specialist to join our client’s revenue cycle team. This direct-hire role focuses on verifying benefits for IV medications, coordinating insurance requirements, and communicating coverage details with patients.

Key Responsibilities:

• Verify insurance benefits for IV medications and confirm network status
• Determine coverage under Part B vs Part D and identify PCP requirements
• Calculate patient responsibility and communicate coverage details
• Send required forms and maintain accurate documentation
• Collaborate with billing and clinical teams to ensure smooth processes
• Stay current on payer policies and insurance regulations

Qualifications:

• Previous experience with insurance verification for IV medications
• Knowledge of HCPCS codes (including J and S codes) and ability to differentiate between them
• Familiarity with insurance software systems and EHR platforms
• Strong attention to detail and ability to manage complex information
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
