Capacity Building Coordinator

SUMMARY OF RESPONSIBILITIES:
The Capacity Building Coordinator is a member of the Community Engagement & Impact team (CEI), reporting to the Director of Strategy and Impact. The Capacity Building Coordinator is a key player in supporting the Director of Strategy and Impact and the CEI team in delivering the organization’s capacity building strategy for nonprofits. This position is responsible for leading the implementation and logistics of the Confluence Fellowship and its alumni network, and support organizational strengthening initiatives for nonprofit partners through iCAT (Impact Capacity Assessment Tool) administration and other capacity building supports. The Capacity Building Coordinator serves as a trusted advisor to nonprofit organizations, facilitating their growth in leadership and organizational excellence.

QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience. Nonprofit leadership and/or capacity building experience and knowledge preferred.
- Minimum of 3 years management experience or serving in a leadership capacity.
- Microsoft Office competency (Word, Excel, Power Point)
- Knowledge of or aptitude to quickly learn Foundant GLM software experience preferred.
- Project Management experience preferred.
- Training in Results Based Facilitation and/or Trauma Informed Care preferred.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES/DUTIES
Confluence Fellowship
- Collaborate with the Design Team to support and help define project scope, goals, and deliverables.
- With guidance and support from the Design Team, develop and implement project plans, including timelines, gathering and preparing resource documents, and coordinating guest speakers.
- Coordinate and schedule meetings (secure dates, send calendar invitations and agendas to attendees and schedule meeting location/rooms)
- Purchase program supplies, snacks and meals.
- Assist with administrative tasks (expense reporting, credit card reporting, calendar management and phone support)
- Develop and maintain relationships with Confluence fellows and alumni.
Capacity Building
- Support the Director of Strategy and Impact with the implementation of organizational capacity building for nonprofits, to include assessment and planning.
- Provide coaching support to capacity building partners as needed.
- Support data tracking and interpretations for capacity building data (e.g. iCAT database, Catchafire data, etc.)
- Participate in community conversations and initiatives to gain knowledge and understanding of nonprofit capacity building strengths and needs.
- Assist with grant writing, grant monitoring, gathering materials and information for grant proposals and reports, as needed.
Community Engagement
- Collaborate across teams to provide information for press conferences, newsletters, annual reports, websites, social media and other public relations efforts.
- Assist members of the CEI team with coordination and scheduling of community events and convening with the nonprofit community, as needed.
- Assist members of the CEI team with ad hoc reports, as needed.
- Other duties as assigned
Compensation: $70,000
