PRODUCTION ASSOCIATE – HEAVY LIFTER

Snelling Staffing San Antonio is accepting applications for a hardworking and dependable Production Associate – Heavy Lifter to join a fast-paced production team. This position is responsible for stacking, organizing, and ensuring the proper handling of finished products while maintaining safety and quality standards.

PRODUCTION ASSOCIATE – HEAVY LIFTER DUTIES:

• Read packing specifications to determine the stacking configuration of boxes on pallets
• Set up code date information for product packaging
• Monitor conveyor lines for defective packaging and ensure smooth operations
• Stack boxes on pallets according to specifications and move pallets to the wrapper
• Wrap and tag pallets for storage
• Supply packing materials to the production line and clear equipment jams as needed
• Maintain records of production and equipment performance
• Keep the workspace clean, safe, and organized
• Follow Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), company policies, GMPs, and safety protocols
• Operate in a high-speed environment, ensuring safety while handling potentially dangerous equipment and machinery
• Complete tasks assigned by supervisors to meet production goals

PRODUCTION ASSOCIATE – HEAVY LIFTER REQUIREMENTS:

• Submit to a drug screen & criminal background check
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• Ability to lift up to 60 lbs. and perform physical tasks such as bending, stooping, and pulling for 8–12 hours
• Comfortable standing for extended periods in temperatures ranging from 25–45°F
• Familiarity with GMPs, safety guidelines, and lockout/tag-out procedures
• Strong teamwork, communication skills, and manual dexterity
• Knowledge of metal detector policies and proper handling of products is a plus
• Must be able to adapt to flexible schedules based on production needs
