The Opportunity
The Product Manager leads the product strategy of selected courts and land records products by playing a central role in the definition, development, enhancement, and management of the products. This includes developing and communicating the product strategy, defining and driving roadmap development with engineering, interacting with key stakeholders, and building the go-to-market plans in partnership with sales, marketing and professional services.
What You Will Do
- Develop and execute product strategy in alignment with company vision and goals
- Develop and execute product roadmap to support the product strategy
- Conduct comprehensive discovery to inform strategic definition of product features and determine business requirements.
- Collaborate closely with engineering agile teams to execute upon the roadmap, communicating progress and risk to stakeholders
- Create user stories and product requirements for use by the development team
- Prioritize features and enhancements based on user feedback, technical feasibility, and business value
- Oversee product lifecycle from ideation to launch ensuring timely product releases
- Oversee retirement of redundant products and products that are at the end of their useful life
- Own product Go To Market plan, collaborating closely with marketing, sales, and professional services to execute
- Develop and monitor product key performance indicators to monitor product strategy effectiveness and make data driven decisions
- Initial responsibility will include jury management and online dispute resolution (ODR) software product management. Products managed will change over time based on company priorities and resources.
Requirements
What You Will Need to Succeed
- 5+ years relevant experience in product management with SaaS products
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field
- Aptitude for analytical thinking and problem solving with a data-driven approach to decision making
- Technical acumen to effectively collaborate with engineering teams and understand technical considerations in designs
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate cross-functionally
- Knowledge of modern product management and development frameworks, such as Pragmatic Marketing, Silicon Valley Development Group, agile, scrum, Kanban, or similar approaches
- Experience in the courts, justice, law and/or government technology markets, especially targeting US state and local jurisdictions is desirable but not required
