Job Title: Control Panel Technician
Job Description

Join our team as a Control Panel Technician, where you'll be responsible for the assembly of electrical enclosures used for the measurement and control of hydrocarbon and chemical products, as well as power and water applications.

Responsibilities

• Assemble electrical enclosures according to our standards and practices.
• Mount electronic control hardware into enclosures.
• Terminate input and output signals from the control hardware to termination blocks.
• Accurately measure wire lengths and strip insulation for I/O channels.
• Land wire ends under screw terminals and tighten them securely.
• Follow detailed schematics and directions for assembly tasks.

Essential Skills

• Proficiency in panel wiring and assembly.
• Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics.
• Skilled in point-to-point wiring.
• Experience with hand tools such as wire crimpers, wire strippers, pliers, and cordless drills.
• General PC skills including knowledge of Word and Outlook.
• 3+ years of experience in building whole units independently.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Attention to detail and precision in work.
• Ability to handle multiple wires and wire color combinations.
• Dexterity to work with small screw terminals packed tightly together.

Work Environment

Work at a dynamic workstation with the flexibility to sit or stand. Be prepared for occasional lifting of up to 50 lbs. The area is non-climate controlled, with summer hours adjusted to 6 AM - 3 PM to accommodate for heat. Potential plans to make the entire facility climate-controlled are underway, and the valve department is already climate-controlled. Regular hours are 8 AM - 5 PM, Monday through Friday, with the possibility of working from 6 AM - 5 PM for overtime when needed.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Lewisville, Texas.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $21.00 - $22.00/hr.
