Job Description:

Addison Group is hiring two Payment Posters to join our client’s dynamic billing team. This contract-to-hire opportunity is ideal for individuals who enjoy solving problems, working with high volumes, and navigating multiple systems to ensure accurate and timely payment posting.

Key Responsibilities:

• Alternate weekly between Accounts Receivable (AR) and Payment Posting tasks
• AR duties include basic follow-up, resolving eligibility and clearinghouse rejections, and rebilling claims
• Post payments manually (approx. 45%) and electronically across multiple platforms
• Locate and extract payments from provider portals and other sources
• Maintain high-volume posting—$1.6M–$1.8M monthly, with individual payments averaging $100–$200
• Ensure timely posting to support bi-monthly invoicing cycles
• Reconcile payments daily, weekly, and monthly
• Review and correct billing errors, manage denials, and file appeals as needed
• Collaborate with team members to improve processes and system efficiency

Qualifications:

• Minimum 2 years of experience in payment posting (AR experience can be trained)
• Strong analytical mindset—must be proactive in locating missing payments
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-volume environment
• Experience with systems such as NexGen (required for one role), AdvancedMD, ECW, Athena, or Practice Fusion
• Stable work history preferred—seeking candidates with long-term roles rather than frequent job changes
