Lead Kitting Associate
Job Purpose:
The Lead Kitting Associate will coordinate the flow of work and materials within or between departments according to production schedule. Duties will include reviewing and distributing production, work and shipment schedules while compiling reports on progress of work, inventory levels, costs and production problems.Job Responsibilities:
Communicate shortages of merchandise through proper channels to ensure accurate billing., Has an understanding of warehouse locator systems., Inspect, fill and stage orders in an accurate, thorough and efficient manner in accordance with established Company standards and procedures. Understand unit of measure., Inspect merchandise, check for shortages and reject damaged goods on a daily basis as requested by supervisors., Participate in annual inventory., Practice and adhere to established safety rules and policies, as well as, established housekeeping standards. Performs equipment safety review. Reports any violations or hazards to management immediately., Prepare products for shipment to include packaging for safe shipping, labeling and marking. Use tape rope sealing equipment and shrink film.Additional Responsibilities & Qualifications:

Work Experience:
● 2+ years working in a warehouse environment. Distribution warehousing experience preferred. ● Sound experience and understanding of straightforward procedures or systems.Education:
● High School Diploma/GED PreferredWorking Conditions:
Responsibilities will be in an air conditioned office space often located inside a non-climate controlled warehouse where exposure to cold, heat, damp or humid conditions may occur.
Will work around moving machinery such as forklifts and pallet jacks.
Noise level in the work environment is typically loud.
Exposure to dust, mechanical hazards, moving objects, operating vehicles and shift work is required.

Ability to continually lift, twist, pull and carry 50 -75 pounds
Ability to use various material handling equipment (Pallet jacks, order pickers, hand trucks, stand-up reaches, forklifts, Taylor Dunns, computers (RDT and VDT), laser guns, slip sheeter, roll grabbers, truck/trailer lift gates, etc.)
Physical activities required of this job include, but are not limited to:
Walking/Standing - walk throughout the warehouse to complete customer orders. Stand when operating order picker or reach truck equipment and when operating cutter.
Sitting - sit only when driving sit-down material handling equipment.
Lifting - lift items weighing a few ounces up to 150 pounds with assistance.
Stooping - performed when filling orders or putting away products assigned to floor level locations. May bend at the waist.
Kneeling - may kneel when filling orders or putting away products assigned to floor level locations.
