Responsibilities include:
- Assist with activities of daily living (ADLs): Provide support with bathing, grooming, dressing, and personal hygiene. Assist with mobility, transfers, and ambulation.
- Medication reminders: Provide reminders for medication according to prescribed schedules. Support clients in managing their medication routines.
- Meal preparation and nutrition: Assist with meal planning and preparation, adhering to dietary requirements. Monitor and encourage proper nutrition and hydration.
- Companionship and social interaction: Engage clients in meaningful conversations and companionship. Accompany clients to appointments and social activities.
- Health monitoring: Observe and report changes in clients' health status to the care team. Document care provided and any notable observations.
Qualifications include:
- Certification in CPR and First Aid preferred
- Compassionate and empathetic attitude
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to follow care plans and work collaboratively within a team
