DRAFTSMAN

  K&H Truckweld is new to Texas – but not new to building quality dump bodies for our growing customer base. We are a sister company of Pioneer Truckweld with a proud 60+ year history in the Pacific Northwest. Our mission is to bring the same superior quality and legacy of customer service to a new audience in the Southwest.

Responsibilities and Duties:

K&H Truckweld is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Draftsman to work closely with our General Manager and Production Managers. The successful candidate will have the ability to thrive in a fast-paced and collaborative environment.

Requirements:

Thorough knowledge of SOLIDWORKS

Ability to read, understand and create process-flow diagrams and other 2-D drawings.

Ability to interpret drawing, sketches, and verbal descriptions to produce required 3-D models to meet customer and product specifications with minimal supervision.

Ability to self-check and correct all work prior to submitting to direct supervisor for approval.

Ability to interpret engineering mark-ups and accurately make drawing corrections.

Position requires a team player with initiative, excellent time management skills and ability to prioritize tasks. Must be extremely organized and skilled in Microsoft Word and Excel.

Solid prior work experience in a similar role for 2+ years or recent college/technical school graduate in the field of Drafting or Design with related internship experience.

Shop/Production floor experience a plus.
