Quality Control Assistant Scientist
We're Hiring: Quality Control Assistant Scientist
We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Quality Control Assistant Scientist to join our team in Arlington, TX. In this position you'll provide s upport quality control at a concentrate manufacturing plant by testing raw materials and finished products, managing sensory testing, and ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards.
Location: Arlington, TX
Work Mode: Work From Office
Schedule: Mon–Fri, 8AM–5PM
Contract: 3 months
What You'll Do:
- Test and approve raw materials and finished goods against specifications
- Conduct and manage sensory testing, including training new panelists
- Investigate and resolve sensory-related quality issues
- Track and analyze results to identify trends and improve processes
- Maintain accurate records and manage lab supplies
- Ensure compliance with PepsiCo protocols, GMP, FSMA, FSSC22000, OSHA, and plant safety policies
- Lead local “Quality Good Catch” program to identify and prevent issues
- Address safety risks immediately when identified
What We're Looking For:
- Bachelor’s degree in Biology, Chemistry, or related field
- 3–5 years of quality experience in a manufacturing environment
- Knowledge of basic laboratory protocols
- Strong attention to detail and ability to analyze data
- Flexibility to occasionally work outside standard hours
