Job Summary & Responsibilities

We are seeking a motivated and outgoing Billing Coordinator to join our team. Your responsibilities will include answering phone calls, scheduling appointments, processing/submitting claims, posting payments, following up with denial letters, send statements and following up with account balances with phone calls, auditing patient account, checking walkouts for errors that will affect the claim. Credential doctors with insurance carriers or submit documents to cancel credentialing. Speak to walk in patients about any outstanding invoices. The ideal candidate is highly organized with excellent written and verbal communication skills and a friendly demeanor. Contribute to company reports. Some travel may be necessary within San Antonio area to our sister location.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience is required in dental billing/insurance


• Familiarity with standard office equipment such as printers and fax machines


• Excellent computer skills and knowledge of Microsoft Word, Outlook


• Highly organized with excellent time management skills and the ability to prioritize daily responsibilities
