Palletizer (D Shift) Nights

Dal-Tile is currently seeking a Sorter to join our TEAM! As the Sorter we need someone who can perform a variety of inspection and sorting finished tile.

D Shift: Wednesday 12:00 AM - 6:00 AM ; Thursday - Saturday 6:00 PM - 6:00 AM.

Primary Objective:

Inspects and sorts finished tile. Operates automated palletizer equipment and stacks boxes of tile onto pallets.

Major Function and Scope:

• Inspects tile for shade and visual defects.
• Discards defective tile into trash hoppers.
• Monitors equipment or processes and reports problems to supervisor.
• Follows standard operating procedures.
• Keeps area safe, clean and organized.
• Performs other related duties as required.

Experience and Knowledge Required:

• High school diploma or equivalent experience.
• Previous manufacturing/production experience.

Competencies:

• Good oral and written communications skills.
• Good record keeping skills.
• Good listening skills
• Accurate measurement capability.
• Ability to understand and speak basic English.
