Job Purpose:

We are seeking a highly skilled Technical Scrum Master/Program Manager with a strong technical background and proven leadership abilities. The ideal candidate will drive Agile practices within large-scale, enterprise-level digital transformation initiatives , with a focus on platform modernization . This role will work with cross-functional teams, guiding them to deliver high-quality technology solutions aligned with business goals.

Requirements

• Act as Scrum Master for one or more Agile teams , facilitating all standard Scrum ceremonies and ensuring that Agile principles are followed.
• Provide leadership and coaching to Agile teams in their continuous improvement and Agile maturity .
• Support the product owner and collaborate with architects and engineering teams to ensure alignment and successful delivery of technology modernization goals .
• Agile Practices & Continuous Improvement:
• Drive continuous improvement in team processes, performance, and Agile maturity .
• Identify and resolve impediments that hinder team progress and escalate issues as necessary.
• Guide teams and stakeholders in Agile best practices , promoting a high-performing Agile culture .
• Project Management & Transparency:
• Provide transparency into project status, team health , and delivery metrics using tools like Jira , Confluence , and others.
• Support enterprise-level Agile transformation efforts and help scale Agile frameworks where necessary.
• Collaboration & Leadership:
• Lead and collaborate with cross-functional teams across multiple domains, ensuring alignment between technology and business objectives.
• Support stakeholders and team members in identifying and overcoming challenges.

Required Qualifications:

• Technical Expertise:
• Strong technical background with the ability to understand and discuss architecture , APIs , CI/CD , cloud platforms , and related technical topics.
• Agile Experience:
• Proven success in managing Agile teams for large-scale, enterprise-wide digital transformation initiatives .
• Expertise in Agile frameworks such as Scrum , Kanban , SAFe , etc.
• Leadership & Communication:
• Exceptional communication , facilitation , and leadership skills to drive team performance and facilitate smooth interactions.
• Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams across multiple domains.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Industry Experience:
• Recent experience in the financial services industry .
• Previous experience working at Fidelity Investments (FMR) with positive references .
• Familiarity with the BFSI sector , including companies like Charles Schwab , Capital One , Vanguard , or Morgan Stanley .
• Technical Expertise in Platform Modernization:
• Experience with major platform modernization projects or legacy-to-cloud transitions .
