The Retail Program is built to support driven individuals in launching and growing their own insurance agency while leveraging the strength, systems, and resources of Farmers Insurance.
Program Requirements
- Capital Requirement: Minimum of $100,000
- Background Check: Must meet satisfactory standards
- Licensing: Property, Casualty, Life & Health licenses required prior to full-time appointment
- Training: Completion of the University of Farmers® training program
- Office: Branded, fully equipped office location at time of appointment
- Staffing: Minimum of 2 licensed and appointed team members
Compensation & Benefits
This opportunity offers multiple income streams and bonus potential designed to reward growth and performance:
- Contract Value: Build long-term economic interest in your agency
- Sellable Asset: Opportunity to sell service and commission rights
- Signing Bonus: $5,000 upon full-time appointment
- Exterior Branding Bonus: Up to $6,000 for approved office branding
- Monthly Lead Support: Up to $500/month in lead generation credits (based on qualifications)
Performance-Based Bonus Opportunities
- Reserve Program Bonus: One-time bonus based on net new business commissions
- Monthly Bonuses: Based on production and net new business (up to 3 years)
- Annual Bonuses: Based on 12-month performance and growth (up to 3 years)
Additional bonus opportunities available for Life and Commercial production (subject to program maximums).
