Kiln Tech
Job Description:
We are seeking a dedicated and flexible Burning Operator with a strong work ethic to join our team. The ideal candidate will support company operations and contribute to a pleasant work environment. This is a safety-sensitive position requiring the ability to adapt and handle various tasks effectively.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Transfer kiln cars in and out of the burners.
- Monitor the kiln and make necessary adjustments.
- Adjust temperatures as needed.
- Change burners.
- Monitor brick quality.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Skills and Experience Required for Success:
- Minimum of 1 year of relevant experience.
- Computer literacy.
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to identify and resolve issues in a timely manner.
- Ability to gather and skillfully analyze information.
- Ability to wear PPE (personal protection equipment) – required and provided.

Education:
- High school diploma or equivalent combination of education and experience.
