Shifts: Days 7AM - 7PM, Every 3rd weekend


Seven Healthcare are seeking a skilled and independent RN specializing in Labor and Delivery for a travel assignment in San Antonio, Louisiana. The competent nurse will provide routine and complex care, focusing on both immediate needs and long-term patient goals in a dynamic and supportive environment.

Key Responsibilities of the RN - Labor and Delivery

• Meet expectations of the applicable OneCHRISTUS Competencies: Leader of Self, Leader of Others, or Leader of Leaders.
• Provide nursing care utilizing nursing processes, including assessment, diagnosis, planning, intervention, and evaluation for assigned patients.
• Address increasingly complex psychological, emotional, cultural, and social needs of patients and families.
• Administer medications and treatments using appropriate protocol; monitor for side-effects and treatment effectiveness.
• Document patient history, symptoms, medication, and care provided.
• Assess learning needs and deliver education to patients, family members, and/or caregivers; identify issues and resources.

Requirements of the RN - Labor and Delivery

• RN License in the state of TX or compact
• Current BLS certification required (AHA only)
• Current ACLS certification required (AHA only)
• Current NRP certification required
• Current certification from NCC Electronic Fetal Monitoring (C-EFM) or AWHONN Intermediate FHM
• 1 year of experience in the related nursing specialty preferred
