The Industrial Maintenance Technician will play a crucial role in troubleshooting, maintaining, and repairing complex industrial equipment to ensure smooth operations. The ideal candidate will have a strong attention to detail, enforce safety protocols, and conduct regular inspections to prevent equipment failures and downtime. This role requires the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams, resolve technical issues efficiently, and maintain high standards of equipment performance and reliability. The Industrial Maintenance Technician will also play a key role in optimizing equipment functionality and ensuring a safe and productive industrial environment.

GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Execute preventive and corrective maintenance on industrial machinery, electrical systems, hydraulic/pneumatic systems, conveyors, pumps, motors, and production equipment.
• Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, and PLC-based equipment to minimize downtime and maximize operational efficiency.
• Interpret and apply mechanical drawings, schematics, blueprints, and equipment manuals accurately and effectively.
• Document maintenance activities, repairs, and equipment performance precisely.
• Install and test new machinery, ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards.
• Partner with engineering, production, and safety teams to drive continuous improvement initiatives.
• Track equipment performance and propose upgrades or replacements as needed.
• Follow OSHA regulations and uphold company safety procedures at all times.

Skills and Qualifications :

• 10-20 years of industrial maintenance in manufacturing, production, or heavy industry.
• Strong knowledge of electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
• Proficient in troubleshooting PLCs (such as Allen-Bradley, Siemens).
• Welding, fabrication, and machining experience is a plus.
• Able to work from blueprints, manuals, and equipment specs.
• Proven record of working safely and efficiently in industry.
• Able to lift heavy equipment, stand for long hours, and work in varied conditions.
• Associate degree or technical certification in Industrial Maintenance, Mechatronics, Electrical Engineering, or related field preferred.
• Familiarity with CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management Systems) preferred.
• OSHA 10/30 or other safety training preferred.
• Leadership or mentoring experience is a strong plus.
