Job Description
As Contracts Manager/ Contracts Specialist you will:
- Draft, review, and negotiate contracts to meet business and legal requirements.
- Monitor contract performance to ensure alignment with agreed terms and conditions.
- Handle contract renewals.
- Provide guidance on contractual risks and mitigation strategies.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure compliance with legal and regulatory standards and assist new clients with basic inquiries/ sign-post them to the technical and customer support teams.
- Maintain accurate and organized records of all contractual documents.
- Support the legal team with ad hoc projects and administrative tasks.
- Identify opportunities to improve the contract management process.
- Ensure timely resolution of contract-related issues or disputes.
Candidates must be based in the Houston area and able to work on-site daily from the West Houston office (77079 zipcode) and have US work authorization now and indefinitely. The Successful Applicant
The successful Contracts Manager/ Specialist should have:
- A strong background in contract negotiation, review and management.
- Proven ability to support with client quotations and tenders, new client contract negotiations, contract renewals and new client on-boarding including Know Your Customer (KYC) processes.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with various teams in the US, Europe and worldwide.
- Proficiency in contract management software or related tools.
- A proactive approach to identifying and resolving issues.
- Familiarity with technology used in the oil, gas, energy and natural resources industry is a plus.
