Ensure a high level of responsive field support for revenue generating activities; provide the best value to the Company through competitive sourcing; resolve vendor and operations issues; and create and issue Purchase Orders for services and materials.
- Purchase materials and services required to meet Supply Chain objectives and to expeditiously complete customer sales orders and repairs.Â
- Negotiate prices, delivery and terms with suppliers and vendors.Â
- Expedite deliveries to meet field customer business needs and schedules.Â
- Receive requisitions: analyze for quantity, specifications, and delivery requirements.Â
- Develop sources, request pricing and delivery; select suppliers, place orders, follow up until equipment is received.Â
- Advise management of market conditions and supplier base activity, which could affect pricing and/or delivery.Â
- Contributes to Supply Chain and departmental goals and objectives through proactive purchasing that lead to lower TCO and improved customer satisfaction.Â
- Participate on strategic development and implementation projects and participate as assigned on special projects.Â
- Reconcile problem invoices related to purchase orders.Â
- Work with freight forwarders and Logistics Manager on a daily basis.Â
- Investigates and resolves matters of significance on behalf of management.Â
- Must be able to establish and maintain good working relationship with team and all levels of management, departments and employees.Â
- Self-starter with ability to work with minimal supervision and handle multiple projects simultaneously.Â
- Make decisions that properly reflect company policy.Â
- Strong oral, written and organizations skills are required.Â
- Able to work successfully in a team environment.Â
- Able to drive implementation of policies, procedures and best practices.

- Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering or 3 to 5 years related work experience.Â
- Proficient in MS Office.Â
- Proven ability to prioritize tasks and effectively handle details.Â
- Excellent ability to work in a team environment.Â
- Strong supply chain background with the ability to interact with internal and external customers and suppliers.Â
- Strong communication skills, in both verbal and written forms.Â
- Knowledge of computer hardware configurations and operating systems.Â
- PC skills in word processing and spreadsheets desired.Â
- Demonstrated ability to handle multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.Â
- Excellent customer relationship and communication skills.Â
- Must be able to understand the customer needs and specify requirements.Â
- Flexibility to solve different types of challenges.Â
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.Â
- Self-starter with the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.Â
- Strong interpersonal skills to interface with internal personnel as well as outside vendors and Operations personnel.
