Job Title: Overnight IV Certified Pharmacy Technician II

Duration: Temp-to-Hire

Location: Central Fort Worth, TX (76104)

Pay: $19/hr – $25/hr+ (based on experience)

Schedule: 10:00 PM – 6:00 AM

Note: Must be comfortable working a 7 on / 7 off schedule

Job Summary:

Supports pharmacy operations by assisting in the delivery of professional pharmacy services to patients, hospital staff, and the community.

Key Responsibilities:

Clerical Duties:

• Answer phones and assist with inquiries
• Record, file, and report pharmacy activities and services

Central PO Area:

• Pre-package and compound non-sterile tablets and liquids
• Compound hazardous medications
• Process orders through pharmacy inventory systems accurately and timely

Omnicell:

• Perform advanced functions within automated dispensing cabinets
• Maintain proper stock rotation and expiration date management
• Manage controlled substances and narcotics inventory using CSM systems

Sterile Compounding:

• Prepare advanced sterile products, including batch and syringe preparations
• Support pharmacy satellites and first-dose dispensing
• Compound TPN and chemotherapy medications

Epic System:

• Process billing and credits
• Run batch check and operational reports
• Handle refill requests from nursing staff

Requirements:

• High School Diploma or GED required
• Current PTCB Pharmacy Technician Certification required
• Active Texas State Board of Pharmacy Registration required
• ACPE IV Certification required
